Operation Christmas Child is a division of Samaritan's Purse that goes to the aid of the world’s poor, sick, and suffering. They are an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Samaritan’s Purse Australia and New Zealand has been doing emergency relief since 1995. Some of our projects include providing life-saving clean water, education and vocational training, agriculture and livelihood programs, health and nutrition and Operation Christmas Child.
Tuggeraong Baptist Church joins the annual Operation Christmas Child Campaign to fill shoe boxes with gifts for children in need around the world.
The COVID-19 global pandemic has disrupted everyday life in some way for nearly everyone on the planet. Yet, Operation Christmas Child continues to share the eternal hope of the Gospel and to serve in Jesus’ Name.
We want boys and girls around the world to know that God loves them and has not forgotten them during this time of fear and uncertainty. We are trusting God as we make plans to traditionally collect Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes during our collection month of October.
Our co-ordinator orders and distributes shoe boxes, collects the filled boxes and delivers them to Canberra's collection point.
When you have filled your shoebox, you go the Samaritan's Purse website to print your label that allows you to track your box to its final destination.
