It is wonderful to see so many children and youth coming to church on a Sunday with you!
Covid-19 has caused us to rethink how we will manage Kids’ Church.
We’re excited to move forward with ministry to children – one that will promote their sense of belonging to something important. At the same time allowing them to make friends within our community, so they will have a safe place to grow in faith in Christ.
Over the next few weeks we will be ascertaining how many children there are and their ages.
Of course, none of this can happen unless we have some structure in place. We invite you to participate in creating the structure and joining the team!
Please feel free to talk with Sara Cornford or myself about your kids and the sorts of activities we all can make happen.
Our thoughts for Sundays at this time are to commence with two groups – one for older school age children and one for the younger ones. Starting on a fortnightly basis. Or perhaps something entirely different.
To enable this to happen, we will need a minimum of four adults to lead the Kids’ Church groups. Are you interested in being part of this exciting time?
Please let us know by calling either Sara 0407077827 or Marian 0415141869 or dropping us an email (marian@tbc.com.au) or chatting to us after the service on Sunday.
Look forward to hearing from you – Marian (Children's Ministry Leader) and Sara (Kids' Church Leader)
If you are looking for a mid-week program for your kids, our youth program operates on Thursday nights for our kids and you and which reaches to kids beyond our own church community – Brigades aims to develop faith and leadership in kids from ages 5 and up. Find out more in the Groups section in our App or on our Website.

In the four Gospels Jesus’ unique authority and identity as the Son of God are expressed in sayings which begin with the words ‘I am’ (Greek, ego eimi), a phenomenon most frequently seen in John’s Gospel.
For Jews who knew their Bible well the force of all these ‘I am’ sayings would have been clear. Jesus was saying, ‘I am God.’ In hearing me you are hearing God speak. Many of Jesus' I AM statements are derived from Old Testament metaphors
