Psalm 8:3-4
When I consider your heavens,

what is mankind that you are mindful of them,

We’re reminded in 2 Corinthians 5:7 that we “walk by faith and not by sight.”
But what exactly does walking by faith look like?
The mere phrase denotes the activity of movement.
Walking by faith means that you are embarking upon a journey.
Along this walk, we will have to do more than just believe.
We will have to be mindful of our thoughts, our words, and the actions we take – these are the fundamental steps to walk by faith in God.
"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." (Heb 11:1 [RSV])
"And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." (Heb 11:6[NASB])
Sunday November 27 Perfecting Your Faith James 1:1-12
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations:
Greetings.Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower. For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. [NIV]

Sunday November 20 The Way of Faith Hebrews 11: 17-19
By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.
