Mike Ashford demonstrates the Lordship of Jesus in His life through patient and tireless service to the body of Christ. Mike’s service is supported by his firm commitment to continually building his personal relationship with Christ. This is evident when Mike leads God’s people at TBC in worship.

Mike’s professional experience in the IT industry provide us with a secure and effective IT environment. For many years he managed teams who designed, developed and implemented systems.

Mike has faithfully followed Christ since the days when he achieved the Queens’ Award while in Boys’ Brigade. He continues to develop leaders for the church and the community through his service to Boys’ Brigade at Tuggeranong Baptist church and in the ACT.

Mikes is committed to the growth of Tuggeranong Baptist Church and each its members and non-members alike and takes his role as Elder very seriously. He always has a listening ear, a supportive hand, and, in Christ, is a good, good father to us all. He’s also fun to be with.

Mikes carries the role of secretary in the Eldership team.

He is committed to succession planning and releases ministry to others to develop them and advance the effectiveness of TBC.
