This meeting will follow the AGM on the same day.

The purpose of the meeting is consideration of the changes to the Constitution and vote on the motion:

“That the current constitution of Tuggeranong Baptist Church Incorporated (dated 28 June 2011) be altered by replacing it with the version of the constitution circulated to members with the Notice of Special Meeting on 18 June 2026 and incorporating any minor technical alterations to that document as may be required for the relevant regulatory body to accept lodgement of the altered constitution.”

Attendance

As with the AGM, a quorum of twenty percent of members is required to conduct business at the meeting.

 Acceptance of motion

For alteration of the constitution, a two thirds majority of members who vote, must vote in favour of the motion in order for it to be deemed to have been agreed to by the membership.

 Absentee Voting

It has been decided that absentee voting will be permitted. Any absentee votes should be sent by email and received in the projects@tbcchurch.com.au mailbox by 6pm Friday 24 July 2026.   The subject line of the email vote should read “vote on motion for altered TBC constitution” and a simple “Yes” or “No” in the body of the message.
